The location of hidden pi symbol that enables the 3D Mode

3D Mode is a hidden render mode.

It can be accessed by going to the Extras menu and pressing the small, hard to notice, capital-pi-symbol button in the bottom left corner.

3D Mode was first added to the game in Version 1 as an experiment but wasn't discovered until a few months later.

3D Mode[edit | edit source]

3D Mode plays out just like the current game mode, whether it be Sandbox Mode, Campaign Mode or Escape Mode. However, the entire prison will be rendered in 3D, with some objects and walls being replaced by 3D models.

Many objects in the game are not modelled yet and uses a flat, 2D sprite on the floor instead.

Notes[edit | edit source]

  • Fences uses tall concrete wall models.
