The sprinkler is an object that can be placed to help suppress the spread of Fires in buildings. The sprinkler is not a replacement for the Fire Emergency Service and should only be used to limit the speed of the fire. They will automatically disperse water when they detect fire or if they are damaged. The area of coverage is not very large, therefore it is wise to place one sprinkler every 3 or so tiles in critical areas. The sprinkler does require water supply.
- The sprinkler does require water, thus requires a functional Water Pump Station. This means that if the Power Station is damaged during the fire, the Water Pump Station may go off-line - cutting the supply of water to the sprinklers and thus making the entire fire suppression system useless. Make sure the Power Station is in a secure spot or that you have an independent power station to power the water pump station.
- Although sprinklers in the generator room would seem like a good idea on paper, the generator instantly explodes if it comes into contact with water so it is in fact the worst idea possible.
