Description:

Game mechanic that controls the need for food.

Other Information:

  • None provided

When not being fed, a prisoner's food need increases. When it reaches a certain level, the starving need will be displayed with the prisoner's other needs. When it has built up and turns critical, the prisoner will lose health and then fall unconscious, resulting in a guard taking him to the nearest infirmary where he will be healed to full health. However, he will continue starving and if not healed or fed in time, eventually die.

Reasons for starvation[edit | edit source]

The main reason for prisoners to starve is a lack of food, caused either by a lack of kitchens, cooks or due to bugs in the distribution system. Yet players can decide to wall in unwanted prisoners and starve them on purpose, to remove them from their prison.
