You can cancel any Grant currently in progress, from the Reports/Grants window. You will have to repay any money advanced as part of the grant, as well as a 10% fine. The grant can be accepted again at a later date if you wish.
Cancelling grants that will cost you money to accept (investment grants) will refund the money you invested, but you will still pay a 10% fine.
Also in Grants Report, you can take out and repay loans, as long as you do have an Accountant.
Interest payments are made hourly, and each successful payment increases your credit rating. As your credit rating increases, so does the amount you can borrow, from the initial $2,500 up to a max of $250,000. If you miss out interest payments, credit rating will be decimated and the bank will refuse to lend you more when you need it.
The loan will never be paid off by daily interest payments from cashflow alone. You will have to repay the borrowed sum in the Grants Report actively, when you can afford to do so.
