Serving Table and Cooker Relationship[edit]

  • It looks like one serving table combined with one cooker results in only bringing out two food items. ("Stacks" of food.) However, pairing two cookers with one serving table results in filling the serving table with four stacks of food. Can anyone else verify that before I add it? --Electric Glow 23:44, 5 October 2012 (UTC)
    • What do you mean with "pairing"? The result, that several cookers, cooks and serving tables will provide more food is pretty much self explaining. --Phees (talk) 02:36, 6 October 2012 (UTC)
      • You're right, "pairing" was a bad word to use. But this does confirm what I thought. Cheers! --Electric Glow 12:27, 6 October 2012 (UTC)

A cooker holds two pots/pans of food, a servingtable can hold 4 pots/pans of food. So u need 2 cookers to fill a servingtable completly... makes sense.

  • Sounds a bit too hardwired to me. If you have more cookers, the cooks will just push out the food as the serving tables are emptied, but, sure, in pure numbers it is right. --Phees (talk) 09:30, 6 October 2012 (UTC)

But if you've only one cooker and one serving table (for example) the cooks will only fill two slots of the serving table and don't start to cook more (even if more food is needed). Thats something that should be kept in mind ;)

I am adding to this discussion before I edit the main page. Some of these tips need further refining. For example, a serving table can hold four food types. Cooks will initially bring twenty meals out. A full serving table can hold eighty meals. As soon as there is less than twenty meals in a stack, more food will be brought to the serving table. A serving table will only serve one prisoner at a time. I haven't counted the amount of prisoners a table can serve in an hour. This is something I'll get around to. I'll be replacing the less detailed information with the ones I've gathered

I think the serving table can serve up to 4 prisoners at a time. I destroyed the benches in the canteen so the prisoners get the food but can't eat it. Then at every slot (the 4 slots with food in it) were a prisoner holding food.

Oh, then I think I was seeing a strange interaction then. I did see that my single serving table able to handle a lot of prisoners when the prison was still small. But when it grew to about 100+, the serving table was only able to serve one at a time... So suddenly, I had a ton of meals and still a ton of hungry prisoners.

I think you are right and the serving table can only serve one at a time. But in my case the serving table served one after the other, but the prisoners didn't go away so it looked like everyone has been served at the same time. Maybe we'll find it out in the future ;D
