Hey Im having problems with the Template:room infobox, For the needs (Requirements) the first bullet point is not displaying correctly. as seen here Cell --Khane (talk) 22:29, 27 September 2012 (UTC)

You will need to use and to get the list to work. --Quasi (talk) 22:34, 27 September 2012 (UTC)
I'm Going to try it once again but It seem it dosen't work if you do it on the template itself. --Khane (talk) 22:43, 27 September 2012 (UTC)
Nope, the template only looks for the first row. You'll need to do it on the page itself, unfortunately. --Quasi (talk) 22:44, 27 September 2012 (UTC)

Template Request[edit]

Hey Tim, how excactly should the template work? only one image? (like [[File:chad.png|thumb|just a test|left]]

just a test

but not left or right?

or something more special with more than one image, descriptien etc?!

(Btw, span text shouldn't be nneded anymore in the templates)

Just like the gallery on Death Row, but with more space for screenshots, so basically for landscape (16:9) images, so that there's less space wasted and more space used for the actual screenshots. --Tim ~ Quasi (TALK) 17:11, 1 October 2012 (UTC)

Okay I've got something, i've posted an example at deathrow. Usage:

{{Gallery | image = chad.png | width = 80 | descr = test }}

width and descr are optional, is no width set it will choose 200 by default (what is a good width for a thumbnail)

tell me what you think, it#s just something really basic, only a table with an image and a description

--Chad (talk) 18:09, 1 October 2012 (UTC)
It looks quite good! Does each image need their own template? If so, can you make so that you can use img1, descr1, img2, descr2, etc? (I honestly don't know what's possible and what's not) --Tim ~ Quasi (TALK) 18:12, 1 October 2012 (UTC)

Okay, how many images would you need in the template? there should be a maximum and if a gallery should have more images you could just add a new gallery template.

I could change that the original size is used by default (good for small images, bad for big images), would make more sense i think

200px is fine. I don't want to accidentally insert ten 1280x720 images by accident and then have to add a width to them manually. :P --Tim ~ Quasi (TALK) 18:25, 1 October 2012 (UTC)

You probably already saw this on the talk for the community portal, but I implemented userboxes.. I want people to know so they start making userboxes ;)

You can see an example of a userbox here.
