Deleting pages without use

Hello RGeey911!

do you know somebody, who can delete pages, that aren't neccesary? There are two pages for prisoners in german, so one of them could be discarded. Version 1 and Version 2. Version 2 is the (a little bit) better one.

Hello RGeey911!

I've just began with the translation of the mainpages into german - most german articles seems to be extremly outdated so i couldn't stand it any longer. If you have any suggestions how to do or organize the translations better, please let me know! :)

As already mentioned in the stub talk page, I dislike that template and would like to know, what is required to get rid of it. --Meeeps (talk) 13:08, 28 December 2013 (UTC)

The Stub Template is essential for this wiki as it alerts contributors that articles need attention, and alerts readers that an article may not be as full of information as it should be. Because it is a large notification to all editors that the page needs some help, the template should remain unchanged unless a better reason can be presented.

When an article is lengthy enough, or contains all available information, then the stub tag can be removed. However, if an article contains only two or three lines of text, or if much more information can be added to it, then it should remain a stub.

Talk page cleanups

You added a "update required" template and I was wondering why so I looked into talk page which had topics dated back to 2012, so I thought clean that obsolete talk up, how do you archive talk? (I assumed since the history is kept, delete is like archiving) --Meeeps (talk) 13:05, 28 December 2013 (UTC)

Even though the last conversation in that talk page was from a year or so ago doesn't mean that it's useless. The reason why it was reverted was because only two topics existed on that page. Whenever a talk page gets filled with too many topics, then it can be moved / copy and pasted into another page that will act as an archive.

thanks for your recent contributions to the wiki.

As I'm not Chris, I can't answer your suggestion on his talk page for 100%. But the problems with the image uploads have been discussed with Mark and Chris and as far as I imagine, the idea was to have some moderators at the wiki. As you may have seen on the forums, the wiki-moderator thread is very outdated. Unfortunately they don't reply to my mails. The wiki needs some moderators and a real solution for language support.

I hope i could help you, because I don't know if Chris checks his talk page here.

Assistance with editing the Wiki

I apologize, but I am new to Wiki editing and wish for an experienced editor to ensure I haven't made any rookie mistakes. I wish to aid in updating and informing users about Prison Architect, but as i am unsure whether the information is clear. The page I have edited is the Programs page, If you have a moment would you be able to check it, to ensure the quality of information does not suffer.

It's all good, all editors are welcome - so long as they have the desire to make the information found here clearer, or have more information to add. Your edits were very good, and the information seems good (although I haven't had the chance to play through alpha 18). However, I did make some cosmetic changes to the article.
I changed the summary from a bulleted list into two blocks of text, edited the size of some of the columns in the table, and added some links to other articles from within the table. I also removed the descriptions from the "Course Type" column and placed them on the bottom of the page, outside of the table.

As for the images on Grants page, i understand its a pain... but it looks better.. and i already have the screenshots done, just not uploaded yet.. I made a quick mod to unhide all of the grants to get the SS's last night.... since im 80% done with the hard work is it ok to finish how i started?

I have the main Grants page finished, but on each of the pages on the grants, the infobox for the Objectives / Pre-Requisites need to be added... I plan to do this soon, the pages are marked as a stub right now, I also want to have a section on each of the grant pages for hints and tips, how to's and stuff... but in time.. in time.. I have been working on my website as you know, once thats running smooth i'll put more hours in on the wiki to help out. PinkFloyd (talk)

First of all, thanks for all the work you've put in on this wiki, especially keeping it updated as new versions are released.

Secondly, did you ever find anyone that can delete images? I see that there is still no way to upload over an existing image, and I've also seen a few pages marked for deletion, but never deleted. You definitely have my vote for wiki mod.

Lastly, did you manually create your User Page? It looks awesome, and I want one, but if the only way to do it is to copy/paste yours and update it every time I do something worthwhile, I'm not sure it would be worth the trouble.
